I'm an emotional pack rat. Stockpiled in my subconscious are scores of memories from the past and worries about the future that I stumble over every day. Anxiety and worrying can trip anyone. Here are some simple things that will help us let go and enjoy life.
Exercise. Not only is working out good for the tummy and the thighs but it also helps you get an emotional high. Research shows that exercising just 30 minutes a day for at least 3 days a week can help with anxiety, even depression. If you don't have 30 minutes, a few minutes of exercise may be enough to distract you. Self-praise is no praise. So we don't want to praise ourselves on the effort put in writing on anxiety questionnaires. instead, we would like to hear your praise after reading it!

Get rid of negative thoughts. Seems simple enough, but if you're like me, negative thoughts are rampant. Replace those thoughts with a positive mantra or simply screaming (sometimes verbally) "STOP".
